BoozeBit.Me

BoozeBit.Me highlights the effects of excessive alcohol consumption and provides information, support and referrals to people wanting to reduce or better manage their
drinking.

The campaign is in response to growing evidence that LGBT people are drinking at higher levels than their heterosexual counterparts.

Check out the BoozeBit.Me facebook page.

Engaging Queenslanders: a guide to working with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) communities. Copies of the guide, quick guide and the recently amended Commitment Statement to LGBTI Queenslanders are available from the department's LGBTI webpage at www.communities.qld.gov.au/lgbti

Healthy Communities have produced a factsheet summarising key health and wellbeing statistics for LGBT communities. Please feel free to pass it on to anyone who doubts the need for dedicated LGBT funding.
